community guidelines for HARNESS ALBANY

1) Consent is required for all interactions. We understand consent is complicated, especially if we’re exploring control in relationships, but human male sexuality is a core focus of this group. You are making implicit consent to be exposed to sexual behavior by participating with this group. You must make reasonable decisions about how and what type of interactions you will have with the membership. If you choose not to participate we will support that, participation is never required. 

2) Discretion, unless explicitly and very clearly defined, will be maintained by the membership. We as administrators will never share contact information, the identities or specific activities of members. Within membership areas of this site, you may choose to post information visible to other members, but please be respectful of other members discretion needs. 

3) Respect, not everyone has the same interests, neither force nor deny any other member their interests. If you don’t enjoy a particular scene, go somewhere else. And by extension not everyone is welcome in every scene, so just because you’re asked not to participate in a particular scene is not an indication of your participation in the larger group. Respect demands: no racism, no bullying, no fem shaming, no fat shaming, no appearance shaming. 

4) No violence, we understand the difference between a physical experience that explores pleasure and pain as opposed to abuse or as opposed to aggressive physical malignant confrontation 

5) NO DRUGS Only substances generally legal will be tolerated. Our events occur in places with different specific rules. You may encounter people using alcohol, cannabis, or poppers. If you get too inebriated at too many events, you may get asked not to return.

6) No Discrimination We are bikers, bears, daddies, twinks and Faerries and even some suits. We are many skin colors and many beliefs. 

7) ‘No Sex’ Areas will be available at gatherings

General this is an informal group, leather etiquette needn’t be known to get involved. We are a small community with diverse kinks. Explore what you want, ignore what you don’t. Allow others to explore their kinks. Some folks may choose to have a naked experience. Others may remain clothed, leather or gear is preferred. Some may choose to participate in events, to be around the masculine sexual energy, but they may not want to engage sexually. Your level of participation is voluntary. AND we also applaud those who volunteer as sling cumdump or party urinal. Many members enjoy flogging, spanking, bondage, sensory play, chastity, fisting, pup play, and shibari, and so much more. Some may wish to perform while others like watch.
